It was appropriate that the day of Trinity's Winter Wonderland at school it was actually a winter wonderland outside. I loved enjoying the undisturbed new fallen snow in the early morning.
Trinity's school hosted a winter carnival which included games, raffles, vendors, crafts and of course, Santa.
We had to speed through because Trinity and Eddie had a date. He took her downtown to Depaul's theater school to see The Secret Garden. They were a bit early so he brought her to the Congress Hotel to see the Gold Room where we got married. They then walked over to the Hilton where there was a life size real gingerbread house. I am surprised she didn't lick the wall.
After the play they walked up and down State Street and traveled into the Palmer House where the Sugarplum Fairy and Prince greeted them at the door. They then made their way to Rosebud Prime where they lavishly dined. It was then an ice cream date and travels back home with a ton of stories for mama.
