Bowling and Birthdays
The next day we celebrated her Auntie Abby's 11th birthday party at Mongolian BBQ. I forgot my camera. grrr! Here are some shots from my blackberry. Please send me pics Grandma Jo!
2nd Annual Daddy/Daughter Dance
Eddie took Trinity on his annual date to the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance at our church in the city...that we dearly miss.
Before the dance, Eddie took Trinity out for dinner so she can spend some QT with her best friend Emma and her little sister Josie.
I am confident that these moments with her daddy will be something she looks back on forever with great joy.
She insisted that her barbies be in a picture.

Sledding
We took advantage of a "scheduled" day off for Eddie and took the kids sledding on President's day. Despite some horribly overexposed pictures due to an obscenely high ISO that I never changed, you can catch a glimpse of the fun.
This was Everett's first time sledding. I expected him to fly down the hill but much enthusiasm since he seems to be fearless. However, he was very hesitant even after several runs. However, after about a half hour, he was sledding down by himself.
Trinity also went down by herself which surprised me. I thought she would be apprehensive. I also thought Reeve would enjoy some time outside but he fussed the whole time. Either I do not know my kids or everyone was having an off day.
Breaking the rules...

Papi Ed
We celebrated Papi Ed's 83rd birthday recently. We enjoyed some Chinese Food and some good quality time with him and Grandma Marie.

Disney Celebration
I swear they have a Disney on Ice show every 2 months for sucker parents like me! It is hard to pass up $11 opening night tickets. Sooo, we went again and even made it out of there without souvenirs! We had great seats too. We were about 12 rows from the ice. A score if you ask me.
It was Everett's first live show. We were reluctant to bring him because he is a pretty active child. However, for $11 it was worth the try. I had to whip out a lollipop within the first 5 minutes to get him to sit still so we thought we were in trouble. He did great however. He sat for most of the show. He did have some moments of squirmyness but in my opinion, completely manageable. Of course, it was Eddie who had him most of the time, not me. He may have a different opinion. :0

Fantasia coolness!

My Nephew
He is in there with an EDD of April 8th! Reeve is very excited to have a boy cousin with only an 11 month difference in age. We are all very excited too. My sister-in-law (Eddie's sister) and her hubby Jason came over for a photo shoot which turned into an all day/night event as most Campins' events do! At least it was productive. Here are some of my favorites shots. As I told her, it was very easy taking pictures of someone so gorgeous and photogenic. Isn't she beautiful?!?! Jason isn't so bad either.

8 gorgeous months

Reeve continues to brighter our days. You can catch him any time of day on Mama or Daddy's hip. If he is not there, you can easily find him, just follow the screaming.
Praise the Lord he is sleeping pretty well at night. For the last couple of weeks, he has slept from 8 until dawn and then will go back to bed for a couple hours. He sometimes makes it 10-11 hours but rarely.
He weighs just over 20 pounds and is about 29 inches.
He has 2 teeth.
He eats 3 solid meals a day. He loves all fruit and orange-colored veggies (squash, carrots) but hates anything green. No peas, no green beans.
I have started to supplement with formula (due to dwindling milk supply) but am fighting to keep him nursing for as long as possible...for a variety of reasons... mostly convenience and nutrition.
He grabs your face and gives you kisses while saying "mmmmmmmmm!"
He reaches for toys and lunges forward to get to them. He really wants to crawl but hasn't gotten on his knees yet.
He has yet to roll from his back to his belly. I am convinced he is perfectly capable but he really, really, really dislikes being on his back. Instead of rolling off of it, he freaks out crying. Maybe before he turns one the child will figure it out.
I am wondering if I should trim his hair. It is starting to grow over the ears. I can't imagine him sitting for a haircut though.
He loves the bathtub. I often give him a bath to stretch out the time between dinner and bedtime. He splashes like crazy often soaking the entire bathroom and forcing water up his nose and all over his face.
He shakes his head no when you do it. It's his little funny game.
He is starting to play peek-a-boo by putting things over his face.
Most of the time he has his arms spread eagle with his fists twisting. for balance!?!? not sure.
He has been much better with his separation anxiety. We are able to keep in the nursery at church without being called to get him. However, he is still upset at home with family watching him. I think he is always anticipating us to come through the door. When we don't...you guessed it, he freaks out.
Snow Day(s)
Before the snow melted we had the chance to get outside and play on the swing set and make some minor adjustments to the snowman Daddy built the day before. We were only out for 20 minutes before our noses got red and our eyelashes started to freeze.
