More Than You Think

This may look like any ordinary moment but it is much more than that. Trinity loves to lie next to Reeve and talk, sing and play with him. Her favorite thing to do it to point out his star in the sky. She will say things like "Reeve, do you see you star? You are a little star Reeve, yes you are." it is so endearing and precious. I have no idea where she came up with it but I love it. Here she is showing him how his star is little and gets bigger and bigger. It is in my top 5 of most precious moments as a mom.

Brookfield Zoo

I commissioned my sister-in-law, Jessica, (AKA Auntie Coo Coos) to join us at the zoo so the kids could see the dinosaurs before they are extinct. Since when did the zoo get so flippin' big? I feel as though we made it through a quarter of it. I guess with 3 kids with 3 separate and specific needs, getting through the entire thing is a dream. From what we saw, we were entertained. Trinity was upset the dolphins are in Minnesota while their home gets a makeover. I am excited to see their new pad come next year.

Everett's 1st carousal ride.
I guess the sun was in Trinity's eyes.

Disney on Ice

We made our 2nd annual trip to the Disney on Ice show. It was much more of a trip this year since we no longer live 10 minutes from the United Center. It was much better than last year. It was truly spectacular. They acted out scenes from every Disney movie I can think of. My favorite was the Aladdin and Genie song and dance.
Trinity had a blast as did Eddie's sister Abby. My parents tagged along for some childlike fun.

Water Balloon Fight

I spent about an hour filling up balloons. It took only about 3 minutes to pop them all. I was more wet from the balloons popping while filling them or from the hose spraying me far worse than the kids got each other wet. Then again their aim is very bad at this age.

Weekends

Our weekends have been packed with many family gatherings: a housewarming, a family reunion, local festivals and basketball games. Here are some pictures:

Birthday Party

For Eddie's birthday, he grilled up some steaks and fielded phone calls. Doesn't he look so suburban??We then headed out for ice cream sundaes. mmmmmmm!
A couple days later we had family over for dinner and cake. It is hard to see but Everett's face cracks me up in this picture. He is ravenous for cake.
