LP Zoo

It is times like these that my heart breaks for not living in the city still.  We had such a great time being lazy and walking slow through  the zoo, seeing what we see, people watching, letting the kids run loose.  They say the burbs are much more relaxed however, I find them to be more stress.  You have to drive everywhere, pack up the car, shove all your junk in the trunk.  It is refreshing to get outside, to WALK, to enjoy people.  Gosh, I miss it.

 I took this picture of Everett and then realized he was about to climb in the camel's habitat.  I did say I was relaxed...enough to get bit by a camel I guess.  Another perk of LP Zoo: the animals are a lot closer!

Trinity gave us the grand tour of all her art pieces at her art night at school.  None of it was new to me since I was there for every project and helped create the entire art wall.  I cherished every minute of it.  I love to see her focusing on something she loves to do while I get to be in her class and spy on the kids.  I got my eye on some of them...

Easter!

I love hosting Easter.  Especially on the years that it is so flippin' gorgeous outside that you can Easter Egg Hunt all day long.  I love it even more when I get a good family picture.

 We had a feast of course, a hunt, some running time, eating time, digesting time and reflection time.  there is nothing more precious than taking a minute, a day, a year, a lifetime to praise the one and only Lord who dies for our sins and saved us from our dirty souls. Thank you Jesus!
