Before we left the city, I took the kids to the Shedd for one last Chicago field trip. We tried to go the month before during "free week" but after waiting in line for over an hour ,and having them close the doors on us due to capacity, I avoided meltdowns by promising the kids to bring them to the aquarium soon. I recruited my brother's girlfriend to help man the 3 kiddos, thank the Lord. We had a beautiful day and soaked in the skyline.
The aquarium has this great new kids area where they can dress up like penguins and slide down slides on their bellies. There are also stuffed animal penguins that Everett hijacked and ran for the hills with.
Yes, Reeve was there but he slept or ate as most babies do. Not too interesting for pictures.
