Harvest Days

Our town puts together a little fest to remember the good ol' days when people had tee-pees for homes and wore bear heads on their own head and when a bow and arrow was wood, twine and a sharpened rock.  Thankfully I was born in this century.

This is the game that kept the kids occupied for hours.  I have seen pictures of children in Africa doing the same game with a metal rim tire and a stick.  It did keep Everett occupied for quite some time.  There became a line waiting for him to be done.  It is a good lesson of the need to simplify things.
